Rider Terms
Ride with clear expectations.
Effective 25 September 2026 · These Rider Terms supplement the KW3LA Terms of Service.
1. KW3LA is the matching platform
KW3LA is a technology and communications platform operated by Rospop Labs Ltd. It helps riders publish ride requests and helps approved drivers discover, accept and coordinate those requests.
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the driver provides the transportation service. KW3LA does not itself drive the vehicle, own the driver's vehicle, determine the route while the vehicle is being driven, or guarantee that any particular driver will accept a request.
When a driver accepts your request, the transportation arrangement is between you and that driver, subject to these Terms and any rights that applicable law gives you against KW3LA, the driver, or another party.
2. Before you travel
- Check that the driver's name, vehicle make/model/colour and registration shown by KW3LA match the person and vehicle that arrive.
- Do not enter the vehicle if the identity does not match, the vehicle appears unsafe, or you reasonably feel uncomfortable.
- You may cancel before the trip starts under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- Do not ask a driver to speed, overload the vehicle, break traffic laws, carry unlawful goods or drive somewhere they cannot safely or lawfully go.
3. Fares and direct payment
During the Zimbabwe pilot, you propose a fare through KW3LA and pay the driver directly. KW3LA does not presently collect the rider fare through the app. The fare shown as accepted in the service, or another amount clearly agreed with the driver, is the basis of the transport payment.
Never send a rider fare to an account presented as “KW3LA commission” or EcoCash settlement. Driver commission settlement is separate from what a rider pays for a trip.
4. Driver independence and responsibility
Drivers are responsible for the actual driving service they provide, including lawful driving, vehicle control, route decisions, safe loading, and maintaining licences, permits, certificates and insurance required for their transport activity.
KW3LA's operational approval process is intended to reduce risk, but it is not a government licence, insurance guarantee, vehicle warranty, or promise that a driver will never act improperly.
5. Safety and emergencies
Use the matched vehicle details to identify the correct vehicle. Wear seat belts where fitted and required. If circumstances become unsafe, ask to stop at a safe place when reasonably possible.
KW3LA is not an emergency-response service. For immediate danger, crime or medical emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service first. You can then report the incident to KW3LA so relevant ride records can be preserved and reviewed.
6. Cancellations, no-shows and early endings
During the launch pilot, KW3LA does not charge riders a platform cancellation fee. You may cancel before the trip begins, including where the driver or vehicle does not match the displayed details or you do not wish to proceed.
If a ride ends early after travel has begun, rider and driver should agree a fair amount for transport actually provided. Because the rider pays the driver directly, KW3LA cannot automatically reverse cash or direct payments, but support can review the ride record and help with a dispute.
7. Location, communications and privacy
KW3LA may process pickup coordinates, trip details, matched-driver identity, in-app communications and periodic location records for matching, safety, support, fraud prevention and dispute handling. See the Privacy Notice for details.
Use driver contact information only for the relevant ride or a legitimate support/safety issue. Harassment, threats, discrimination and misuse or publication of another user's personal information are prohibited.
8. Platform availability
KW3LA is an early-stage pilot. We do not guarantee that a driver will be available, that a request will be accepted, that GPS/mobile networks will always be accurate or available, or that the service will operate without interruption.
Where the law allows, KW3LA is not responsible for losses caused solely by a driver's independent unlawful conduct, a rider's unlawful conduct, false information supplied by a user, a user's failure to follow safety instructions, or events outside KW3LA's reasonable control.
9. Liability and your mandatory rights
Nothing in these Rider Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any mandatory consumer rights or liability that applicable law requires KW3LA or Rospop Labs Ltd to bear.
No wording in these Terms is intended to make you waive a right that the law does not permit you to waive. The allocation of responsibilities above explains the intended platform relationship; it is not a blanket exclusion of all liability.
10. Complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong, preserve the ride reference and contact support@rospoplabs.ai. See Complaints & Disputes. Serious safety incidents may result in temporary account restrictions while they are investigated.
